MISSION STATEMENT
The Outreach and Evangelism Council of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church identified the need for
quality childcare in the Taylors community. As a result, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church embarked
on a mission of providing quality, low cost, Christian daycare and early childhood education in our
community.
VISION STATEMENT
We believe in the importance of providing the children of our community a place of worship as well
as a place of learning in the years ahead. St. Andrews is a growing church, claiming its future under
God, shaped by a vision of God’s love in Christ for the world. We stand ready to make a difference
for God. The church seeks to serve the community and the world through God’s strength and love.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to share the gift of Christ with all.
"Where children can grow in God's Grace."

May 2008 News
Sixteen years ago, the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church embarked on a mission of providing
quality, low cost, Christian daycare and Early Childhood education in our community. As a
result, the St. Andrews Child Development Center [CDC] was formed in May, 1992, as a
community outreach to the Taylors area. Since that time, the CDC has served hundreds of
families and children both in the community and within the church. Presently, we serve 35
families by providing for 51 children in the CDC.
The staff is credited with making the CDC like a family for all who are enrolled. Each staff
member cares for all children as if they were their own. They all assist in each child's
development from potty training, learning to share, building friendships, to becoming
responsible students. The staff has truly fulfilled St. Andrews Child Development Center's
motto: "Where children can grow in God's Grace."
