Work Day Thank You!

Thank you to the following people: Gene Bowser, Lewis and Mary Lou Jones, Dick Borry, Randy McCracken, Ellis Bailey, Will Beckwith, Dana Tate, Karlee Tate, Joey Tate, Kevin Cribbs and Philip Beckwith who gave up a Saturday morning to work at the church.

A lot of odd jobs that needed to be done were completed. Have you seen the new church sign on State Park Road at Reid School Road? That was one of the tasks completed on Saturday, June 21, along with shrubbery trimming, mulch shoveling and other much needed repairs to the building and grounds.

We appreciate your hard work and the results that are very obvious!

Thank You!!!

Dear Friends of St. Andrews:

I want to thank all of you for your support of my family during these uncertain times with the premature birth of my granddaughters, Carolina and Lily. It is truly a blessing to have Christian friends who will offer to help in every way they can. Until we have concerns, we often don't know the value of friends and their eagerness to pray.

It has meant so much to Laura and me. Your calls, your notes, your meeting me in the parking lot asking about Carolina and Lily has carried me through worried times.

Now it is time to praise God for all of you and start my new journey with my two little granddaughters. I am so blessed to be part of such a caring group.  All of you have a special place in my heart. Please let me lighten your burdens by praying and caring for you in any way that you need me.

Caroline is home and Lily is expected to be there very soon.

God's blessings to all of you!

Love,

Shirley Caligan

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Obeying when God hasn't revealed the steps along the way or the final destination is challenging. But when we choose to walk by faith and not by sight, God gets all the glory in the end because we KNOW we couldn't have done it on our own.
