Summer Wednesday Night Supper
In
response to a number of requests, we will have a monthly
Wednesday night supper this summer. The first one will be on June 25 at
6:30 p.m. The July and August dates will be announced soon.
Amy
and Tami are planning a supervised program of activities for the children
and youth.
Ruthie
Morrow is planning a program for the adults, and we may again have some
combined adult/child activities.
These
fellowship suppers will help keep St. Andrews' folks more connected
during the summer months. We're especially looking forward to the participation
of folks who are unable to attend during the school year!
If
you have suggestions or would like to help in any way, please
contact Eva Price (292-3497 or woodencanoe@aol.com) Amy Jackson (292-0430) amyjackson1@bellsouth.net or Tami Wall 9292-0430) twall1697@charter.net , or talk with us in
person.
Thanks,
we hope to see you on June 25th.

These
words, adapted from Phillips Brooks, will serve graduates well as they
embark on their journeys:
"Do not pray for an easy life; pray to be a stronger
person. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers but for powers equal
to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you
will be the miracle. Every day you shall wonder at yourself and the
richness of life which has come to you by the grace of God."
