What a Deal - Free Lunch on June 1st

... and all you have to do is give us your opinion!!!

You and your family are invited to join us on June 1st after worship to take part in our visioning process. The Vision Team needs your feedback to guide us in discerning God's vision for St. Andrews. The process is simple...

  • Come grab a free plate of food provided by Mutt's BBQ
  • Take your seat at one of the tables.
  • Enjoy the food.
  • Respond to 4 simple questions provided by a table captain.
  • Go home.

Each table will have a captain that will record your responses but not your name. The responses will be consolidated and utilized to prepare a long range vision for St. Andrews.

The framing question that will guide your conversation will be "How is God calling St. Andrews to further God's Kingdom in the here and now?" The questions that will be asked in relation to the framing question are:

  • When did you come to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and what brought your here?
  • What is the most positive aspect of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church?
  • What is the one thing St. Andrews Presbyterian Church should keep doing and/or start doing?
  • How are you helping St. Andrews Presbyterian Church further the Kingdom of God? How would you like to help?

We encourage children from the age of Confirmation and up to participate in the questions and answers. Amy and Tami will lead the younger children in activities during our question and answer session. We expect the lunch and conversation to conclude by 1:30 p.m. We hope you take the time to be a part of this exciting event led by the Holy spirit.

Goodbye to Paul Thomas!

Paul Thomas, our organist, is leaving St. Andrews.

In a letter to Ray Whitehead, Paul says, "I have greatly enjoyed my time at St. Andrews. The congregation's kindness and support has been a gift to my life. I have loved spending Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings with the choir, and I appreciate the friendship that this community has offered me in our mutual effort to provide uplifting and edifying music for worship."

Goodbye, Paul, we'll miss you! We wish you well in your future endeavors.
