

| Jeff Gilstrap, Commissioned Lay Pastor Jeff is a native of Greenville SC, graduated from Wade Hampton High School, received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and is currently a principle partner and CEO of SYS Constructors, a General Contractor, located in Greenville SC. Jeff served 3 terms as Elder at John Knox Presbyterian Church in Greenville prior to pursuing a vocation in ministry in 2000. In 2004 he was commissioned as a Lay Pastor by the Foothills Presbytery, served as the Parish Assistant at Tyger River Presbyterian Church from 2002-2006 in Duncan SC and was called to St Andrews Presbyterian Church in 2006. | Joshua Kirby, Youth director Joshua Kirby grew up in Tampa,FL and went to College at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL where he served in numerous ministries including 3 years as a freshman small group leader and leader of a touring performing arts team called "Soul Food". Having graduated in 2007 with a degree in Theatre (minor in Business and religion) and moved to Greenwood, SC to spend some time with his father and family living in the area. Using his degree to its fullest extent, he acquired a job that is perfect for any starving artist...serving tables at Chilis. After living in Greenwood for a few months, Joshua became involved with ministry at Northside Baptist Church where he began planning, writing, and acting for their children's ministry "Epic". He worked with this ministry for almost two years. In early January 2009, Joshua received an opportunity to audition for a christian rock band called Edge of Eternity, where he met and fell in love with his now wife Casey Robinson. Both he and Casey are still working in the band together for the glory of God. |
| Ray Whitehead, Director of Choirs Ray is serving as Director of Choirs after retiring and moving to Greenville County from Florida with his wife, Bettz. | Tami Wall Director of Christian Formation Tami Wall is a native of Greenville. She has served in the ministry of God’s church for 26 years. Over the years her positions have included directing programs for Christian education and music for children, youth, adults, and senior adults. She worked over four years as the music teacher for John Knox Kindergarten that just celebrated its 50th year. As the Director of Christian Education at John Knox Presbyterian Church for five years, her duties included being a liaison between the school program and the church. Tami met and married her husband Tom while serving at Trinity Presbyterian Church. She has a daughter, Casey, who is 25 years old and a graduate of Presbyterian College. | Emilie Clark, Administrative Assistant Emilie Clark has served St. Andrews Presbyterian Church as Administrative Assistant for the past 16 years. During that time she has grown to admire and appreciate all the people in this community of believers as they minister to each other. Emilie is a native of Greenville, SC, having moved to the Taylors area at age 12. She graduated from Taylors High School. She was married to Duane Clark, now deceased, and has three children; Michael, Roger and Dana and is the grandmother to six grandchildren: Caroline, Madeline, Meredith, Jamieson, Erin, and Cooper. | Tom Wall Building and Grounds Tom Wall is a native of Moncks Corner. He holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Education with a minor in Religion- both from Furman University. At age 23 he was licensed to preach by First Baptist Church in Moncks Corner. While attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary he was ordained at Oak Level Baptist in Nash County, North Carolina. He has served as a deacon in a Baptist Church and in the Presbyterian Church, worked as Director of Activities at Connie Maxwell Baptist Children’s Home, coached Little League baseball and was the head baseball coach at Furman University. Currently Tom serves as the sexton and security person at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Travelers Rest and came on board as the sexton for St. Andrews in September of 2008. Tom is married to Tami Wall, the Director of Christian Formation at St. Andrews. Besides his step-children Casey and Cody Robinson, he has two children, Mary Anne and Buck. He also has two grandsons- Connor and Adam. |
